It’s easy to see the Hand of God at work in the miraculous:
A child found safe days after a building collapses in an earthquake; A notorious political henchman who finds God in prison and becomes a noted Christian apologist; An aggressive cancer that has not spread even though doctors feared it had; A terrorist who is thwarted before his plan…..
WHITE AS SNOW
© 2018 Debby L. Johnston
As the snow in myriad flakes
Wafts gentle on the trees,
May Your mercy-feathers spread
In downy drifts to blanket me.
Paint Your white; anoint my head
With holy dressing from above.
Make every healing snowdrop fall
With tender weight of Lover’s Love.
Wrap my shivering, naked frame
In the blizzard of Heaven’s grace,
And when the Son of Spring returns,
May I be warm in His embrace.

Just a quick note that I have been having problems accessing my Web page and blog since just after Christmas. Thank you for hanging in there with me. I hope to have it fixed, soon. Today is simply a quick access that I may not have, again, for a while. Do check my Facebook page (Debby L. Johnston) to keep up on my news.
Note, also, that my third book is out and doing well! I hope you are able…..
Yay! Watch here, and/or Debby’s Facebook page (Debby L. Johnston) for an announcement of when Debby will have Book 3 in hand to sign and sell. (Can’t wait!)

Mrs. Bryngleson’s glasses slipped off her ear and dropped into the water as she waded out to save students who had been caught in the river’s current at the town park. Our Sunday school class…..
MY BROTHER COULD BE THE “CHEERIOS KID.” His love of Cheerios started early—around two years old. That’s when my mom awakened to find him propped on his knees in a kitchen chair and…..
Perhaps you’ve been cornered by a Leo Ryan and gotten lost in an onslaught of words. Or maybe your Grannie hailed from the South and you were treated to all kinds of homemade remedies (see my husband’s Grannie in the photo). Or maybe Andy Garrett is an inspiration and melts your heart, like he…..
IN THIS SEASON OF GIVING SPECIAL THANKS, I’ve not only recalled how Jesus told others to give thanks, but I’ve also been prompted to look for what Jesus, Himself, gave thanks. Two recorded instances come to mind—apart from thanks for meals.
Once, after facing the disappointment that despite His many miracles only the lowly and spiritually poor of Israel flocked…..
